Wandering Mess known as Swamp

Swamp wanders hopelessly. His tail drags behind him and he doesn't care where he is going. In fact, he seems to be going in circles. Mud, leaves and twigs are stuck to his fur and his lifeless eyes scan the surrounding area without even noticing details.

The blood soaks into the fur on his paws and he takes a wobbly step towards her. "He stumbles forward and falls beside her. He puts his paws over the wound trying to stop the blood flow. Everything she's told him has abandoned him and he can't think straight.

Still, she is motionless. Her eyes are tightly closed and her paws are outstretched. Her mouth is open slightly and her tail hangs beside her daintily. Inside her mind, Snow is wondering in the moonlight. She can see everything, Swamp beside her, and her body. She walks over to swamp and touches him with her paw, but it goes straight through him. It's not her. It's her spirit.

"Snow... Snow... I need you Snow." He begins sobbing, struggling to take breaths. "I love you Snow you can't be dead." He pulls his blood soaked paws off the wound and gets up. He stumble to a patch of moss and tears it up. He returns and presses it on the wound.

In her mind Snow sees two people. It's her twolegs. They outstretch their arms to her and she wonders if she should go over to them. Slowly, she begins to take steps. But then she hears Swamp crying and sobbing. "Should I leave him? No. He loves me. I won't leave him." She backs away from the twolegs and runs back into her body, her spirit dissolving into what was her carcass. She sputters breaths and coughs, the life returning to her face. Her cold body began to warm up slightly and she looked up at Swamp weakly.

"Snow!" He cries out happily. "Your alive... You got really hurt... I thouht you were dead. You stopped breathing," he tells her. He stops sobbing but continues to cry. He looks at the blood soaked moss, wondering what to do next.

She does nothing else but put a paw on his cheek. Looking into his eyes for a few moments, she puts her paw down and passes out at the extreme blood loss. Blood starts to spurt out of her wound and she goes silent. However she is still breathing.

He peels the moss off her wound and gets a new piece. His head is dancing from his own blood loss but he keeps pressing the moss onto her wound. "hang in there Snow," he murmurs.

Snow mumbles a little in her sleep and grunts as the moss presses onto the large slice in her flesh. "Swamp... take care of yourself first..." She mumbles unconsciously.

"no, Snow your going to die if I don't take care of you, my wounds can wait," he says. He looks around and luckily sees some goldenrod. He stumbles over at grabs it, along with some cobwebs. He returns and presses down on the moss again and chews up the golden rod.

She grunts slightly and her breathing gets shaky. "It hurts Swamp... I can't take the pain..." She mumbles to Swamp. She groans once more and opens her eyes slightly to glance around. "Where are we?" She asks weakly.

He spits the golden rod in her larger wounds and covers them with cobwebs. "I'll grab some poppy seeds Snow... And we're in a clearing near the hunting grounds." he tells her and hobbles away to find poppy seeds and more cobwebs.

She nods and closes her eyes again, trying her best to stop complaining and get some rest. The stinging pain of the goldenrod poultice in her big wounds causes her to groan again, but louder. She bites her lip in pain and lets out a deep breath.

He returns with some poppy seeds and cobwebs and puts a few poppy seeds by her. "Eat these Snow, they'll numb the pain," he tells her softly. He's still bleeding heavily and becoming light headed but before he tends to his wounds he changes the bloody cobwebs on Snow's wounds.
Finally, he turns to his own. His side is a bloody mess and he can hardly locate the actually wound. When he does he puts on some golden rod and cobwebs. He does the same for his tail and a few more minor scrapes.

She turns to the side and munches on the poppy seeds, turning onto her okay side. She glances up at him and closes her eyes. Slowly falling asleep at the affects of the poppy seeds, her wounds gradually begin to go numb.

Featherheart was wandering through the forest, looking around at the unknown territory, not looking where she was walking, she trips over a rock and tumbles down a small hill. Reaching the bottom she runs into Snow by accident.

Swamp glares at the new cat and hisses. "Watch it," he says, but the tears pouring down his cheeks make it hard to choke out the words. He looks at the cat but his eyes slam shut and he tumbles to the ground. Clearly, he didn't get the cobwebs on his wounds in time.

Snow scrambles to her paws when Swamp falls to the ground and runs over to him, her wounds piercing with pain. "S-Swamp?" She asks. She looks around frantically and grabs moss, wetting it with water and holding it over his mouth so hopefully he can drink. She knew she couldn't do anything but help him eat and drink until he felt better. "Swamp, honey, you have to stay awake. Please."

Feather gets up and flattens one of her ears. "Oh, I, er. Sorry." She says to the cat she ran into, then looks at the other cat. "I, er, I should probably help you with that." She hesitates for a moment, looking at the cobwebs. "Err...Hmm.." She says half to her self. Then she picks up the cobwebs and puts them on the cat who recently collapsed.

Swamps eyes stay shut but he sucks in the water and swallows it. He doesn't wake up and he doesn't move much. His breathing grows shallower and he struggles to breathe.

Snow glances at the cat and sits by Snow. "There's not much we can do but help him eat and drink. Other than that, I can't do anything until he wakes up." A few tears came gliding down her cheek as she surveyed Swamp and pressed up against him to keep him warm. She pondered on how she will get him back to the cave and glanced down at her wounds, that were now bleeding out of the cobwebs a little from her running. Se took the remaining cobwebs and wrapped them around her waist, hoping to keep the bleeding from leaking any further.

Feather flattens one of her ears while she thinks. "Hmm.." She glances around and sees some goldenrod, leftover cobwebs and a few poppy seeds. She gets up and grabs the poppy seed, goldenrod and cobwebs then returns to where they were sitting. Carefully she takes off the cobwebs from the tom's wounds and puts some goldenrod on them. "Try and feed him a little bit of the poppy seed." Feather says as she hands off the poppy seed.

Snow takes the seed warily as her head starts to spin slightly. She puts the poppy seed in Swamp's mouth. "Swamp? Do you want to try to eat this?" She looks down at him and wraps on the cobwebs, patting them down to ensure they'll stay put.

Swamp doesn't respond or move and the poppy seed falls out of his mouth. His breath is a little more stable but he's still struggling to get air. Suddenly he lets out a yowl and begins thrashing about due to some bad dream.

Feather's eyes widen then holds the cat down so he doesn't hurt himself even more. "Oi!" She shouts. "Wake up! Your dreaming! What ever you see its not real!"

Snow rushes over and starts to lick his cheek, anything to make him feel better and stop reacting to the nightmare he's having. "Stop, you're fine! I'm here! Snow is here. don't worry." She whispers to him.
