Forgotten Purrs
The time of ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan and even the Tribe of the Rushing Water have long passed. The old heroes are just legends now, and the Ancient Clans, tales of LionClan, TigerClan and LeopardClan are scarcely remembered. Tales of Clans and Tribes spread from forest to forest, Twolegplace to Twolegplace, and although the rumors quickly spread, the warrior code, the purpose of Tribes and Clans remained the same. Thus, the first leaders came together: Magpiestar, Sunstar, Hollowstar and Mothstar. Although their beliefs and loyalties were divided, they each were strong and proud and knew their destinies: to rule the forest together, to respect one another, and to sacrifice everything for their friends. Now, those leaders, too, have passed, and it's your time to step up an aid in the rebirth of the forest.

Rocks Blanketed with Ferns Empty
PostSubject: Rocks Blanketed with Ferns   Rocks Blanketed with Ferns EmptyMon Apr 15, 2013 12:17 pm

These rocks are covered in lush green almost year round. The vines create a barrier between the forest and who knows where? Some cats venture out to see but most pass by because it is so well hidden.

The other side of the wall of vines.:

Pine padded towards the many stones dappled with drops of sunshine and wet dew. The view was so glorious it was difficult to concentrate on doing anything but gazing off into the beautiful sight. She shook her head and glanced over to make sure Boots was coming. Pine perched herself on a comfortable patch of sunlight and wrapped her tail around her paws.

Boots trotted towards the rocks, not far behind Pine. He glanced up the the large stones in awe. "Wow, I can see why you wanted to come back.." his blue eyes glinted in the sunlight as he looked up at the vine-covered barrier.

"Yeah. I do not know why I hesitated before now." Pine said. "I would think a cat would explore right away but I didn't bother." She confessed as she hopped up on her hind legs and jumped up on the stone while letting out a brief purr as her paws thumped the jagged rock. "It may be hard to climb up because the rocks are so sharp." Pine mewed. "I have pads that are somewhat hard but they can't be on stone for too long. Luckily, these rocks are sharp but there aren't too many of them." Pine bent down adjusting her hind legs. She had forgotten about her wounds at the moment. When she found herself at a comfortable position she bounded up onto a narrow ledge. pine gripped the edge when her hind paws skidded at the end. she drew her self up and let out a sigh of relief. Several pebbles rolled down and thudded against the ground when Pine skidded to a halt at the edge of the ledge. "Fox dung!" She had just taken one jump and a bit of blood had already been drawn from her front right paw.

Boots gasped, his blue eyes widening as she stumbled. "Pine!" he shouted, feeling a small pang of relief when she pulled herself back up onto the rock. "Are- are you alright?" he called, finding it hard to get up the rocks himself. He put his front paws on the rock in front of him lightly, then quickly jumped up. Wincing slightly, he repeated this process, slow and steady until he was behind her.

"I'm fine." She replied licking her minor wound briefly. "It's always just that first step that's tricky." Then, she scanned the stones searching for another ledge. In a few moments, Pine pinpointed her target, crouched down and leapt up, this time swiftly and not clumsily. She scooted to the side so Boots could come up. "This one is easier than the last jump. Come on up!"

He nods, glad to hear that this jump would be less difficult. His shoulder stung slightly, but Boots ignored it and pushed off the rock he was on to come up next to Pine. "Not far now," he judged while looking up at the couple rocks stacked above.

"Yeah. And the next rock looks smoother from my perspective." She agreed, jumping on her hind legs to observe the next leap. "Just a little bit bigger of a jump." Pine sprung up, this time she was braced and ready, so this jump was much easier.

Boots smiled slightly, pushing off of his hind legs and jumping up onto the next rock. He landed smoothly, making sure not to put too much pressure on his shoulder. Glancing up, there was only one more rock to go, where the wall ended.

"Great!" she panted a little bit as Pine landed on the final stone. "Oh you won't believe how magnificent I can tell this will be just by looking over it! Hurry, Boots! This is beautiful!"

Boots jumped up beside her, his pelt brushing against hers briefly by accident. He pulled away in surprise, meowing quickly, "O-oh, sorry.." looking away as his face grew hot, he glanced forward. "Wow.." Boots looked in awe at the view.

(I'm not sure what they're looking at.. o-o)

Pine gazed at the tiny creek trickling from a gap from the jagged rocks they were standing on. Flowers sprung up from the edge of the water and small pebbles speckled the landscape.

(That's how I imagined it)

(Ah, alright. x3)

His whiskers twitched in fascination, staring at the glittering creek. "It's so.. perfect," he breathed, sitting down as his eyes scoured their stunning surroundings. "I'm glad we came here." Boots remarked, his eyes looking forward.

Pine's eyes gazed into Boots's. "Same with me. Would you like to go farther and explore more?" She said as she turned her head back to the creek. The most wonderful feeling flowed inside of her as she thought of what they would find next.

He purred lightly, "Okay!" Boots looked down at the way down, examining the rocks to find a suitable place to jump down onto. "Oh-- this way," focusing onto the area where a rock jutted out to a ledge, he hopped down and scooted over for Pine. Looking up, his blue eyes glistened in the sun.
