Forgotten Purrs
The time of ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan and even the Tribe of the Rushing Water have long passed. The old heroes are just legends now, and the Ancient Clans, tales of LionClan, TigerClan and LeopardClan are scarcely remembered. Tales of Clans and Tribes spread from forest to forest, Twolegplace to Twolegplace, and although the rumors quickly spread, the warrior code, the purpose of Tribes and Clans remained the same. Thus, the first leaders came together: Magpiestar, Sunstar, Hollowstar and Mothstar. Although their beliefs and loyalties were divided, they each were strong and proud and knew their destinies: to rule the forest together, to respect one another, and to sacrifice everything for their friends. Now, those leaders, too, have passed, and it's your time to step up an aid in the rebirth of the forest.

StreamClan Apprentices' Den Reedbed_habitat

Next to the river is one of the dampest places in StreamClan Camp, but the apprentices bear it anyway, sleeping on reed nests that help to keep the wetness away.

Cloverpaw yawned a big yawn mixed with a loud meow. She rose to her feet and while yawning a second time, she stretched a big stretch. Then, she sat down waiting for Burntgaze to arrive.

Burntglare padded over to the apprentices' den, sniffing the morning air and yawning hugely. He stretched, sinking long claws into the ground and flicking his tail contentedly. Burntglare smiled, glimpsing Cloverpaw out of the corner of his eye and turning towards him. He was still getting used to the fact that he was a mentor now, and was probably as excited to train Cloverpaw as the apprentice was to be trained! "Hello Cloverpaw!" Burntglare meowed cheerfully, unable to keep the grin off his face. "When would you like to begin training?"

BurntGLARE smiled again and twitched his whiskers with slight amusement. Cloverpaw hadn't answered his question exactly, but he'd assume that he wanted to train now. "I sure am!" the black-striped tabby purred, swishing his tail in suppressed excitement. "But before we begin battle or hunting training, you'll have to get to know StreamClan's territory first. I don't think you'll be disappointed!" He glanced towards the camp entrance and took a few pawsteps in its direction, looking back to make sure that Cloverpaw was following.

Burntglare turned back to his apprentice, flattening his ears in sudden annoyance. "No, Cloverpaw. Until you know the territory it'll be easy for you to get lost in it. If you can't recognise the boundaries you might just chase a squirrel into DuskClan! That wouldn't be much fun, now would it?" The tom's voice was stern and unforgiving, much different from his previously happy tone.

"We'll travel along the stream," said Burntglare thoughtfully, already calming down from his outburst just a second ago. "It flows straight through the camp anyway, and it will be an easy place to start. I'm not too concerned about showing you everything inside the territory as much as I am about showing you the borders. You'll learn the rest as we train." Burntglare flicked his tail and started walking towards the camp entrance. He glanced back at Cloverpaw, sweeping his tail as a signal that he should follow.

Burntglare padded out of the camp, weaving through the undergrowth that began almost immediately outside. It wasn't thick, but Burntglare was used to seeing almost none from his time in LightningClan and wasn't sure how he should plow through it. He didn't show the apprentice how uncomfortable he was in the bushes though.

Deerkit peeked inside the apprentices den. Didn't Salixkit say she was going to fill the den with mouse dung?

Burntglare peered into the apprentice den, searching for Cloverpaw. "Cloverpaw?" he called, eyes gleaming as he searched for the apprentice. The dark tabby tom flattened an ear, moving his large head back and forth to see if the apprentice den was occupied. He and Cloverpaw hadn't done any hunting training yet, and he'd like to get on that.
